James A. Barnett

James Barnett is the Founder and Managing Director of Repreact. He completed his pre-sixth examinations early and was awarded an academic scholarship to London’s leading independent school. It was there that he developed the initial concept for Repreact.

As development progressed, Repreact began attracting mentorship and support from leading figures across the United Kingdom and the United States, including professionals from Medtronic and Santander International. Their guidance helped lay the groundwork for the company’s forthcoming pre-seed launch.

Shortly after completing his sixth form studies, James formally incorporated Repreact to commercialise the underlying technology. In Q3 2025, following an early-stage investment agreement with a D.C.-based accelerator firm, he welcomed a senior NHS consultant - previously the founder of a Forbes-profiled biomedical company - as Repreact’s Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer.

The months since incorporation have been pivotal, with development accelerating rapidly and growing informal support from highly regarded institutions. As Managing Director, James embedded his personal ethos into Repreact’s formal aim: to bridge the rehabilitation accessibility divide. The company’s first step toward achieving that goal is its flagship product – the Repreact Collars.
